Physik is the sequel to Flyte; sequel to Magyk. In other words the third Septimus Heap book. The Septimus Heap series is about a boy named Septimus Heap, who supposedly died on the third day after he was born. He was drugged to fall into a short death like coma and taken to a young army expendeble camp. He was then raised  there as ‘boy 412′ until he was 12 when he was rescued by Marsha Overstrand, extra ordinary wizard of the wizard tower.

Physik is about a sickness that spreads across the palace after a door is unsealed to release the ghost of ‘Queen Elthedreda the terrible’ and her ‘aye-aye’ witch carries a certain desease in its one tooth. Meanwhile Septimus gets sucked into a looking glass by a 500 year old alchemist named Marceles Pye. Marceles keeps him prisoner as his apprentis. He is then brought 500 years back in time to help Marceles make a tincture of eternal youthe and life. He is then rescued and, using the skills he learned from Marceles Pye, makes a tincture to cure the sickness caused by the aye-aye.

as you can see Physik is an exciting and action packed story fit for just about anybody above 8 years old. If you’re looking for a good book and a good time… You’re looking for Physik.

it was definitly good. thats for sure.

well i gotta say it was good. rest assured. but I’m gonna try and explain. if possible. weell.. it sorta goes like this:

1. It’s about a peculiarly small mouse with big ears.
2. Despereaux starts reading a fairy tale where a knight in gleaming armor protects a fair maiden.
3. At around the beginning of the story, Despereaux, the mouse, falls in love with the Princess… your typical fairy tale.. BUT it goes on!
4. you SEE… his brother, furlough, SAW HIM talking in english, to the princess.. and sooo he tells despereaux’s father, lester what he saw. and then lester starts beating the drum. that means he is calling the mouse council. anyway, despereaux confessed that he talked to the princess and then…. waaaiitt a minute! i’m giving to many details!
5. well i admit, i WASN’T giving many details, but still, back to the story:       despereaux is thrown into the dungeon and he is picked up by gregory, the jailer and he asks despereaux to tell him a story. to give some light in the darkness of the dungeon. and so despereaux tells gregory a story about a princess and the knight that saves her and that sort of thing.
